Holocaust Essay Contest for 7th & 8th Grade Students
Deadline for Receipt of Entries Is March 28
Seventh and Eighth Grade students are invited to enter the Holocaust Essay Contest. Essays must answer the question: “Why do students today need to know what happened during the Holocaust?” Students are eligible to win gift cards if their essay is judged to be one of the top three.
Entries should be 500 to 750 words, neatly handwritten or typed.
All 7th & 8th grade public and private school students are eligible, including those who are home-schooled.
First, Second and Third Place winners will receive $100, $75 and $50 gift cards respectively, in addition to other awards. Winning writers will be notified in advance and invited to be recognized at the March of Remembrance program at Victory Church in Canton on Sunday afternoon at 2:30, April 28, 2019.
The Holocaust Essay Contest is sponsored by March of Remembrance (MoR).
